FINAL PILOT EVENT HELD IN SPLIT WITHIN THE CITY WATER CIRCLES PROJECT
On October 28th 2021, Public institution RERA S.D. in cooperation with Split Water and Sewerage Company Ltd., organized the final pilot event within the project "City Water Circles" – CWC at the University of Split, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (FGAG).
The final pilot event brought together a number of interested students, external experts on the project and key stakeholders within the project. The event was opened with an introductory greeting from the representative of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy (FGAG) Mr Ivo Andrić, PhD who wished the audience a warm welcome, while an external expert on the project Mr Ivan Baričević, has presented the CWC project, project activities and main objectives. This was followed by an interesting lecture by representative of Split Water and Sewerage Company Ltd., Mr Božidara Čapalije on the topic of water supply and drainage systems in the city of Split. Finally, particpipants had the opportunity to hear a lecture by a representative of Waveform, Mr Petar Šolić, PhD, who presented the results of the developed pilot action of smart measurement of water consumption in real time, which is carried out at the level of the Functional Urban Area of the City of Split.
At the very end of the event, there was a discussion on the presented results of the developed pilot action and the development of a smarter environment of the city of Split.
