FIRECE FI as Inspiration
The FIRECE project partner ENVIROS has developed a publication (in Czech) about the use of financial instruments (FIs) for support of energy-related projects.
It includes examples of a diverse range of FIs such as grants, loans, guarantees, venture capital and crowdfunding as well as their combination. Besides the general information about FIs, the publication contains twelve good practices of financial mechanisms used or planned in several EU countries.
The financial instruments discussed and developed within the FIRECE project also served as examples to be published. In particular, the publication describes revolving funds used in Italy, Austrian venture capital fund, use of loans and guarantees within ERDF operational programmes in Poland and Hungary, and German experience with crowdfunding.
