Galileo Masters 2020 - 30. 6. 2020, EU

Galileo offers free and open data information that can help monitor and potentially mitigate the impact of the coronavirus outbreak. We encourage you to take this health crisis into account when submitting your innovation. Please also check the current Partner Challenges for the specific COVID19 topic. Stay healthy.
WHAT is the Galileo Masters? The innovation competition is scouting for the most forward‐thinking applications based on satellite navigation. It provides support for innovations at any development stage, with the ultimate aim of turning them into real business cases. In 2020, the prize pool is worth EUR 750,000.
WHO is eligible to participate? All innovators, such as companies, startups, students, research associates, non-university research & development institutions, and consortia, as well as individuals and teams, (minimum age of 18 years) from almost anywhere in the world. Find out more here.
Registrations & submissions: until 30 June, Evaluation: July – September, Announcements of challenge finalists: October & November, Awards Ceremony: estimated, December 2020.
As a participant, you need to choose one Galileo Prize powered by the European Commission (EC). The Galileo Prizes co-financed by EC do not follow a specific topic. They are mainly presented by a region, country or institution offering cash and direct support to boost your business development. To double your chances of winning, you then have the opportunity to apply for a Galileo Masters Partner Challenge. The partner challenges focus on a specific topic and are offered by our premium partners with great cash and in-kind prizes to enhance your innovation development.
