Guiding document on benefits of REEF2W plants

The guiding document on the benefits of REEF 2W plants has been finalized, showing how to conduct suitable feasibilty studies. The document, developed by technical partners, describes the different steps of the assessment procedure, the (1) analysis of energetic efficiency (EE) of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for identifying optimization potentials, (2) the selection of technologies for generation of renewable energy (RES) at a WWTPs, the (3) definition of potential energy supply scenarios including and urban compatibility assessment (UCA), the (4) evaluation of the economic feasibility of the intended supply scenarios and (5) the evaluation of the environmental benefits related to the different supply scenarios.
