R2B meetings at the 11th ITTC Conference
Between the 8th and 10th of October 2018, at the 11th International Conference on Technology Transfer, held in the framework of the multiconference Information Society 2018, traditional R2B (Research-to-Business) meetings were organized at the Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation at the Jožef Stefan Institute.
At the meetings, representatives of research organizations and companies discussed possible development solutions, inventions and commercially interesting technologies. Such meetings represent an exceptional opportunity for the establishment of future research collaborations and business synergies.
This year's R2B meetings were extremely successful, with 43 participants from 6 countries (Slovenia, Italy, Belgium, Great Britain, Poland and the United States of America) taking part in three days. There were 40 meetings.
The participants were extremely satisfied with the organization of the event, especially praised the numerous possibilities of cooperation between research institutions and industry, and the confirmation of the experiences that can be useful for European projects, or to summarize the words of one of the participants "the meetings were very interesting, full of information, but above all full of useful ideas and opportunities for cooperation in the future."
The meetings featured the latest technologies from the KPAs (Key Project Areas) presented by innovation actors that were entered into the Synergy platform.
