Policy framework and scoping of funding opporunities
The review aims to map relevant EU international best practices in terms of innovative funding or institutional solutions to effectively promote sustainable freight transport and last mile in Central Europe. The identification of best practices under the two perspectives of financing and stakeholder engagement to promote innovative last mile projects is also linked to WPT2, which addresses the spatial planning part of integrating a green last mile in nodes. At the end of the deliverable, you will find a comprehensive table to compare the case studies and analyze the characteristics of the practices and compare them with the objective of the deliverable.
