Pilot site: Marketing and promotion in Fabbrica del Vapore

Regione  Lombardia and the City of Milan signed an agreement to implement the pilot action in Fabbrica del Vapore, a building owned by the city of Milan.

It was part of a larger complex that used to be a production site for railways and tramways. This structure had a great expansion until the '30s, then it was abandoned.

Its new function is to give the opportunity to people, especially young to express their creativity.

The municipality of Milan and some local association have been involved in Forget Heritage project activities. The pilot will integrate with an already  running project  started by Milano municipality for the requalification of  a former industrial area,  with the objective of involving young people both as users and as producers of cultural, performative, multidisciplinary artistic content, promoting the active participation  of citizens and  encouraging spaces for exhibition, exchange and enhancement of culture.
