3rd PPI2Innovate Days, Székesfehérvár(HU)

We are pleased to announce the final transnational conference of the PPI2Innovate project: Capacity building to boost usage of PPI in Central Europe, which will be held on the 14th of May, 2019 in Hotel Magyar Király in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.

The conference aims to promote the use of public procurement of innovation (PPI). PPI is a new term in many Central European countries. It is a procurement strategy that aims to boost local innovation, through the matching of procurers need - the provision of better local services -, and suppliers need for market expansion. Therefore, PPI is based on the effective communication of the market and procurers. Besides, it is an essential tool to boost local innovation.

The conference will bring together public institutions and authorities, policymakers, innovative companies, business support organizations, practitioners and representatives of universities to answer the following questions:

- How PPI contributes to the development of local innovation capacities?
- How to integrate public procurement of innovation strategy in Central European countries?
- Why is it a useful tool for public authorities?
