PPI Policy Roundtables: Hungary

Central Transdanubian Innovation Agency introduced the PPI2Innovate project and its outcomes at a local event in Tatabánya Hungary on the 6th of November, 2018. One of the main goals of the event was to increase awareness about different procurement approaches that can boost innovation and contribute to the provision of higher quality public services. Therefore, public procurement of innovation and pre-commercial procurement strategies were explained to local decision-makers.

The event also aimed to provide the necessary tools and measures for decision-makers and stakeholders. Therefore, the SMART PPI tools (Health, ICT, Energy) were introduced and explained. Participants were informed about future trainings on how to do PPI and about the establishment of Competence Centres as well.

As a whole, we can conclude that participants have expressed a positive attitude towards the project and its outcomes.
