Building on available knowleadge in the field of revitalization the historical buildings through public-private scheme.
Within the work package Building on available knowledge, the Slovenian partners of RESTAURA carried out several meetings with key stakeholders in the field of revitalization the historical buildings through public-private scheme. They gained valuable information about the status, challenges and advantages of PPP models in Slovenia. ZRC SAZU has obtained valuable information during the meetings with the representatives of the Slovenian Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and of the Ministry of Finance of Slovenia. The latter are well-versed in issues of PPP and can help when reviewing the necessary documentation for public-private investments is needed. It has been shown, however, that the PPP model in Slovenia, both in the public, as well as in various public institutions, is poorly known.
