Interreg SIV webinar series
Do not miss out on webinars series held within the framework of the Interreg SIV project in May 2022. Over the course of the next three weeks, you will learn through our webinars more about our experiences gathered during the SIV project and on how to apply this for your own work.
The two webinars on the topics of social impact funds and voucher programmes focus on our experiences with implementing new instruments on the labour market. Specifically, we refer to the social impact funds as our preferred financial instruments and to the voucher models as our novel approach for fostering inclusion on the labour market. Furthermore, you can also find out more about the basics of impact measurement and about how to conduct your own assessments. Finally, we will share our learnings on these topics, from which we derived policy recommendations for further improving the policy framework in the field of labour market inclusion.
A more detailed description of the four webinars within the framework of our SIV webinar series follows:
1. Impact Measurement and Assessment
The webinar will provide an introduction into the basics of impact measurement and impact assessment by answering the following questions: What is impact? What methods and tools do we know to measure impact? And how can we apply these tools and methods to measure and assess impact? Next, we will illustrate the application of these tools by presenting a concrete example of the impact analysis conducted on the German voucher programme within the framework of the SIV project. In the second part of the webinar, we invite our German partner from Diakonisches Werk Württemberg to reflect with us about the potential and shortcomings of impact analyses as well as about how to use the findings of such studies in the everyday work.
The webinar will be closed with open discussion round on the topic.
