RIS3 Governance Working Group in Madrid
Managing director of INNOVA Észak-Alföld Nonprofit Ltd. Mr Gábor Vámosi participated on the RIS3 Governance Working Group on 28th February, 2018 in Madrid, Spain.
The Governance Working Group is part of the activities of targeted support of the JRC-Seville. Representatives of 9 regions from the EU, as well as experts and JRC researchers, met in Madrid on 28th February. The centre of the workshop was a role-playing scenario, highlighting the complexity of RIS3 regional governance.
The exercise explored the relationship between the following governance bodies/actors, by enacting a realistic policy scenario.
- RIS3 Technical office
- Managing authority of ERDF accompanied by a legal expert (State Aid)
- Managing authority of ESF
- Stakeholders
- Regional politicians (decision makers)
Complementing the scenario, the workshop included presentations from leading academics and practitioners in the field.
