The third edition of the Silesian Science Festival
The third edition of the Silesian Science Festival will take place from 12 to 14 January 2019 in Katowice, Poland. The organizers of the event, emboldened by the success of the previous edition, decided to broaden the formula of these program points, which worked well a year ago, and to offer the Festival audience completely new elements, including motto - ENERGY.
The 3rd edition of Silesian Science Festival (Śląski Festiwal Nauki) is over one hundred and fifty exhibition stands, dozens of lectures, workshops and meetings with interesting people, not only from the world of science. The main attractions and activities of the Festival are: six areas of knowledge (exact sciences, natural sciences, technical sciences, humanities and social sciences, medicine and health and art). the space zone debuting as part of the ŚFN (one of its elements will be displays of Mars rovers), a sports zone, a child zone, e-sport zone or - which is an absolute novelty - a zone of laser science shows.
The program of the event once again included the OFF Science zone along with the Garage Inventions Review. Amateur constructors and inventors - authors of innovative technical solutions submitted and positively evaluated by the expert committee - will gain the right to present themselves to the festival audience in the OFF Science zone (on Sunday 13 January) and to take part in the plebiscite for the most inspiring invention.
Admission to the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is free! However, participation in some festival activities requires prior registration.
