In the second period of project implementation, each Taskforcome region held a Training Meeting for stakeholders in co-design, co-creation, and co-management of CSHUBs. The events were organised by Project Partners in each Taskforcome region:

  • Austria, 18 October 2019 - organised by WIFI-WKO and Verein Multikulturel
  • Poland, 22 October 2019 – organised by TCF HUB and Cracow University of Economics
  • Croatia, 30 October 2019 - organised by CEDRA Split and Municipality of Split
  • Germany, 15 November 2019 - organised by CGE e.V. and Plattform e.V.
  • Italy,  25 November 2019 - organised by O.P.E.N.

During the preparation of workshops partners did research analysing the number of migrant entrepreneurs and their needs, including what kind of support they need. Partners created stakeholder maps with organisations of different types that work with or come from migrants and even those that will help to create support instruments for ME and SE, including local government bodies. This allowed us to create a concept of CSHUB and so define what CSHUB is.

CSHUB is a social innovation incubator and a "physical" place where:

  • together we develop training tools tailored to the requirements of our customers;
  • the training services and tools are piloted;
  • we co-create strategies for entrepreneurship development and recommendations for public authorities.

We manage training for stakeholders in order to involve them in the process of achieving the objectives of the Taskforcome project, including co-creation of CSHub. Our main task in preparing the meeting with the stakeholders was to develop an appropriate model of their involvement in the process of planning and creating a joint strategy for the support of ME and SE.

Having a network of contacts and analysing all possible target groups, all partners selected relevant stakeholders and invited them to the first workshop. During the meetings, each partner started with getting acquainted with the Taksforcome project, presented the objectives and plans of the project.  In the next part of the workshop, each partner discussed the process of involving stakeholders, who will create the mentor team and help create training for ME/SE and who will pave the way for the involvement of aspiring entrepreneurs.

The participants were from different organisation: business support organisation, migrants support organisation, intercultural organisation,  regional public authorities, NGOs (most of them fromor working with migrants), SEs working with migrants, higher education and local politics. However, the main goal was to invite the most relevant stakeholders. This allowed having a very dynamic and interesting conversation during the first workshops, which resulted in new ideas and thoughts on how to co-create the CSHUB and make the next step. During the workshop, further issues arose: how can we make sure that all foreigners in each region learn about this opportunity? What are the most effective channels and tools? Who to involve in the co-creation? We consider the results of the first workshops as very helpful and inspiring, and it also showed us which aspects of the project we need to work on in general and what we need to specify urgently.

Based on the results of our workshops, we discussed the challenges of co-creating CSHUBs and co-designing training and support materials for ME/SE at the Project Partner’s meeting in Forli, Italy.
