Transnational Live-Workshop develops solutions for digital prevention services

Leipzig, 28. November 2018

How to reach the people who are not yet interested in digital health prevention and promotion solutions? – a question, to which digitalLIFE4CE project partners looked for answers in a workshop on 27.11.2018 in Leipzig together with stakeholders from the Saxony region. The best practice solutions of two German start ups - the mobility test from Lindera GmbH and the digital mental coach from Mindance GmbH - provided input for the development of answers through introducing their products and the naming challenges they are facing in reaching their target groups.

As a rule, health prevention solutions are particularly in demand among people who are already health-conscious. In addition, those with a certain affinity for the use of technical devices feel particularly attracted by digital health prevention offers. For providers of digital health prevention services, reaching people who are not yet interested in digital offers for preventing and promoting health is a particular challenge. How this challenge can be mastered was worked out by the participants of the digitalLIFE4CE Live Workshop "DIGITALIZATION IN HEALTH PREVENTION AND PROMOTION" on November, 27th 2018 in Leipzig.

DigitalLIFE4CE project partners from Austria, Italy, Hungary and Croatia as well as SMEs and start-up companies from the Saxony region followed the invitation of Healthy Saxony VFG e. V. and Gesundheitsforen Leipzig GmbH to the Bio City in Leipzig. Using the example of the health prevention apps of Lindera and Mindance, two German start-ups, the participants worked out solutions to the asked question " How to reach the people who are not yet interested in digital health prevention and promotion solutions?", on the one hand for the target group of older people and on the other hand for the area of corporate health management.

At the end of the working day, the participants of the start-ups were able to take a set of solutions with them. In the near future, they wanted to discuss, evaluate and implement the suggested solutions in their companies. Moreover, the workshop day was also a great enrichment for all other participants: new contacts were made to expand the network and some "Aha!-moments" were created.
