Transnational partner meeting in Croatia
5th partner meeting of the RURES project – „Promote the sustainable use of renewable resources and energy efficiency in rural regions” was held in Čakovec, Croatia, on 11-12 November 2019. The event was jointly organized by Public Institution for the Development of the Međimurje County REDEA and Medjimurje Energy Agency ltd in frame of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE programme.
On the first day of the two-day meeting – after the welcome speech of the Lead Partner – representative of the Technical University of Ostrava presented the interface of the value calculator under development, furthermore shared useful information regarding its applicability, spoke about the already completed and ongoing tasks. Besides the interface, the online manual of the calculator was also discussed by the partners. After participants broadened their knowledge about the value calculator, they talked about the details of the future dissemination event - INFOTHERMA 2020 exhibition will be held in Ostrava, Czech Republic on 20-23 January 2020 - where the calculator expected to be presented to wider public.
At the end of the day the partnership visited the office building of Medjimurje Energy Agency ltd. where the host organization presented the results of the pilot activity including all the implemented improvements, equipment purchased and future plans.
On the second day of the meeting, project management related issues were discussed, focusing next steps and tasks ahead of the partners for the remaining project period.
