PBN hosted first 4UI cluster launch event
The launch of the Vas County quadruple helix innovation (4UI) cluster was held on the Techno and InnoCamp Smart Services Conference, at 15 November 2017, in Szombathely, HU. This is the first cluster officially established within URBAN INNO project, with an aim to develop and implement urban innovation action plan for local region.
The 4UI cluster founder Pannon Business Network Association (PBN) led the cooperation process in between relevant regional stakeholders, now cluster members - ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences Department of Economics, Sárvár Municipality, IFKA Public Benefit Non-Profit Ltd., and International innovative company iASK.
At the launching event Mr. Balázs Barta (PBN) presented to the cluster representatives and other Conference participants the general outlines of the future cooperation and the assignments related to the URBAN INNO project. The planned and expected outputs of the cooperation were introduced, with especial emphasize on benefits for local community and economy.
Main objectives and priority areas of Vas County 4UI cluster
Main objective is the establishment of a digital innovation hub that is integrated into the local ecosystem in a sustainable way.
Priority area 1: Education of digital technology-based know-how for the local student and pupil community.
Priority area 2: Training of digital technology-based service applications for local businesses.
Priority area 3: Education of the local public sector and society about the implications, proposed actions due to the disruptive character of digitalization.
Priority area 4: Demonstration of the hub for external community as a benchmark for the regional excellence.
Priority area 5: Utilization of technology to provide service for the local business community.
