ENGAGEMENT: SHARING THE STRATEGY AND METHODOLOGY

In the third and final part of the project, it's time to share the strategy and engage with the complex network of actors and stakeholders, both public and private, which can make a difference towards a sustainable management of the Historic Built Area.

To raise awareness on the integrated approach promoted by BhENEFIT, we identified three different targets, for which we propose three different kind of activities, following the framework traced within the partnership.

Spot seminars are types of meetings between subjects with different perspectives aimed to share information and increase knowledge on specific topic in a very quick way, covering the topics of energy efficiency, technical intervention and heritage valorization.

Design workshops are a moment of collective simulation of integrated working on a reuse project of a HBA building. The workshop is the format which is more adapt to ask for an active participation by the various subcategories of entrepreneurs and technicians.

The informal events are community mapping session followed by an aperitif. Community mapping consists of a group of community members and people with technical skills undertaking observation-based community improvement.
The objective of such technique for managing participatory process is to collectively create an incremental visualization of information produced by observation and storytelling.

These activities goals are to to raise awareness about sustainable HBA management, which is often not perceived as relevant, create a community of practice, coordinate technicians and entrepreneurs actions, share practice examples and give inputs to technicians on how to implement them.
