Winner Vouchers for Research and Innovation Projects Pilot Action
- The Pilot Action:
- The SYNERGY team carried out the online pilot action “Vouchers for Research and Innovation Projects” bringing together different stakeholders from the research community to match innovative ideas in the field of Industry4.0, Additive Manufacturing and Micro- and Nanotechnology with specific technical competences. We are pleased to announce the winner of the pilot action that was selected based on the results of the independent jury evaluation.
- The winner of the voucher is the challenge “High Sensitivity Magnetometer”, submitted to the SYNERGY platform by Marin Karuza, PhD, researcher at the Department of Physics at the University of Rijeka, that received successful technical support via the submitted solution proposal.
- The Challenge:
- The aim of the challenge was to develop a high sensitivity magnetometer for magnetic field monitoring that addresses the current limitations ranging from a small dynamic range to introducing disturbances to the measured magnetic field.
- The Solution:
- By participating in the SYNERGY pilot action, the challenge giver was able to find a perfect research partner with expertise in magnetic field measurements, optical measurements and fiber optics for the joint collaboration on the High Sensitivity Magnetometer.
- The 5.000 EUR voucher will be used for acquisition of parts and assembly, and finally for calibration and testing of the magnetometer.
- The collaboration is on a good way ahead! Congratulations to the Winner!
