Workshop “RTO ready for upgrade” at Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Workshop was held on 4th of July 2018 at the Jozef Stefan Institute (JSI):
The intention of the workshop was to present the project KETGATE to Research & Technology Organisations (RTOs)
in the region and try to get them involved in the project. The workshop was attended by representatives of 3 research institutions. Beside the hosting organization – Josef Stefan Institute (JSI), two organizations took part in the workshop:
the National Institute of Biology and the National Institute of Chemistry.
Both organizations presented their Key Enabling Technologies (KET) activities and experiences, potentials and challenges with industry and SMEs. Before the workshop the RTOs filled out the questionnaire that assessed their potential for collaboration with SMEs. After the workshop the RTOs received the KET mapping spreadsheet, which will help them to assess the activities in specific KET subgroups and enable the project consortium in finding appropriate RTO for joint service provision.
