The first 6 months of RURES
Activities in the first period of RURES.
The project "Promote the Sustainable Use of Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency in Rural Regions" (RURES) started on 1st July 2017 and has already kicked off its first activities. On 25th September the kick-off meeting was organised in Kloster Buch which is an old monastery near the city of Leisnig. The partners started to get to know each other and has set up the timeline for the activities with special focus on the first period. The communication manager has launched the RURES website with support of the lead partner and has filled it up with basic project information and the first news. Regarding the technical implementation the partner regions have organised their Local Support Groups and many of them have already organised the first regional LSG meetings. Meanwhile the collection of the best practices has also started and all partners monitor their regions for the best examples of energy efficiency in rural regions.
