The Open Day of Campden BRI Hungary was held in 12nd December 2017 in Budapest. Over 60 participants attended to the event mostly from the food industry. The Open Day provided a great opportunity to promote the project I-CON to local audience.

The polish Chamber of Food Industry and Packaging hosted the 3^rd steering committee in Warsaw last 10 and 11 October. Partners discussed on SMEs food related problems and solution providers, aming at finding concrete potential matchings in Central Europe. The  'IV Food Safety Congress' has been a fruitful occasion to bring all partners, supporter institutions, stakeholders and professions in regards to innovation in production, logistics and supply chain for business success, quality and safety in primary production.

CNA choose the SIA GUEST fair held in Rimini last 12 October to support a group of food related companies in connecting with the  most ideal marketplace for presenting new trends and technology and innovations that change the world of 'breakfast'. 
The area showcased products and equipment for a “Breakfast made in Italy”.

Our partner CBHU is one of the main organizers of the final round of external consultations on 'Guidelines for the Substantiation of Health Claims on Bioactive Enriched Foods’. Programme

I-CON was presented as good practice in the framework of the 'Smart Regions 2.0 Conference'. The event provided the opportunity to share experience between projects supported by the European Structural Investment Funds and other EU Programmes in the areas of research, industrial policy, education and skills.

The University of Hohenheim hosted the 2^nd steering committee in Stuttgart last 10 and 11 May. Focus of the meeting: developing tools to improve competences in food sector, 
communication activities, events and presentation of a new Food Knowledge Hub.
