The New Silk Road connects Poland and China

"The first train from China entered Poland without transshipment at the border on the wide LHS track. The length of the railway route from Xi'an via Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine to Slavkov in Silesia is 9477 km. It took only 12 days to get there. Now the containers will be transshipped onto the normal railroad cars and cars and delivered to their destination. Euroterminal Sławków is a modern container terminal located at the terminal station, the westernmost LHS wide-track line in Europe with a 1520 mm rail gauge for freight transport. Its advantages include the absence of the need to reload at the EU border and the possibility of running the longest container trains in Europe, up to 950 m long."
