CE-HEAT presented as an opportunity to biogas plants owners in Italy
On September 25th, in Udine, CIB, the italian biogas association, held a meeting within the "Biogasdoneright tour". The event was addressed to Friuli Venezia Giulia biogas experts and plants owners; most of them produce it using raw materials from their farming activities (agricultural waste, manure, sewage, green waste, plant material): this is why biogas is called a renewable energy source.
But it could be even more sustainable and efficient if waste heat from biogas production could be reused: Matteo Mazzolini, executive director of APE FVG, focused his speech on the opportunties of WH utilization and invited plants owners to join the CE-HEAT project.
