Waste heat recovery as opportunity for sustainable cities

The project CE-HEAT participated at the 7th Passivhaus Conference of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The event consisted in a public conference open to experts in the field of energy efficient buildings: planners and construction workers.
The conference displayed many best practices of “nearly Zero Energy Buildings” (expected by the European Union by 2020), along with strategies and solutions to actually plan and build them up and monitored cases showing the effectiveness of Passivhaus protocol.
In such context, waste heat recovery was recognized as one opportunity to plan more sustainable cities.
