Waste heat utilization as attractive solutions for the concept of Smart Cities/Smart Regions in Czech Republic

Waste heat utilization is seen as one of interesting solutions for the concept of Smart Cities/Smart Regions. During the scientific seminar „Engaging Czech research organizations in Smart Cities projects“ at Czech Technical University in Prague, the CE-HEAT was presented. With other experts mainly from academia, but also from private companies dealing with energy savings, smart technologies and other issues, the preliminary outputs of the project (e.g. digital waste heat cadastre) and current challenges were discussed.
The CE-HEAT project was presented by Jiri Louda (UJEP).
