In Italy, Authentic Villages Association (BAI), from October 2020 to February 2021, worked to implement and conclude the Phase 1 (Starter), Phase 2 (Development) and 3 (Consolidation) workshops in the selected pilot area (Oltrepò Pavese, Lombardy Region). Since COVID-19 emergency has prevented the organization of physical meetings....

In March 2021, BSC Kranj successfully completed all three stages of the local innovation workshops. Starter workshops introduced the aim of the MaC Village project and benefits to regional actors and cultural & creative industries (CCIs) of being actively involved in a series of events enhancing innovation to expand their business. 

The workshops have been carried out online due to COVID lock-down in Slovenia. The E-institute has organised nine innovative workshops in last six months and six new innovative products have been developed by entrepreneurs. 

Because of the Covid situation, there were not many interesting activities since November in our region. We have a few meetings with the target groups. Two products have been developed:

• After accomplishing the trainings in the frame of the Mac Village project, the team of the villages...

In the MaC Village starter workshops of phase 1 in Wiesenburg and Wittbrietzen the participants developed new and innovative business ideas.  There was an important insight from the development workshops of phase 2: this is also possible via video conference. 

The current Covid-19 pandemic raises many new questions;

• Does regional development actually work in times of Covid-19?
• What opportunities, but also challenges, arise from the current circumstances?
• Which tools make sense and have proven themselves?

The third series of workshops in Burgenland was also held online due to Covid-19.
The events in the three regions took place on February 23, 24, and 25, 2021. At the individual meetings, the participants work simultaneously with three different tools (Zoom, Miro, Trello).

Based on the results of previous workshops, and a project extension until December 2021, we have re-adapter the schedule. Through this schedule, we hope to be able to organize physical meetings again soon.

The second series of workshops in the three villages in Burgenland were held online due to the Corona-Lockdown in November 2020.

The Partner in Austria concluded the first round of workshops in the MaC Village project with Raiding on October 14th, 2020 and Schattendorf on October 15th, 2020.

On 1st October 2020 the first workshop took place in the pilot village Güssing in Austria. The workshop concept was created by SRH Berlin and implemented by Cardamom (Marie-Theres Zirm).

During September 2020, BAI started the realization of innovation workshops in the pilot area. On 24^th September 2020, the 1^st Starter Phase workshop has been carried out in the Municipality of Rocca Susella, with the participation of traditional...

In Slovenia two partners will be carrying out innovative workshops in fall. The E-institute has carried out individual interviews with rural entrepreneurs and try to find out about their products and services during summer. 

On 29^th September DDTG Nonprofit Ltd. implemented the second, development workshop in Bácsalmás. 24 participants worked together in small groups on innovative product and service ideas, including local producers...

The Interactive MaC Village Camp took place in Burgenland on June 25th, 2020 with 26 participants. The event was moderated by Cardamom and graphically live illustrated. Working together on various topics was carried out in small groups and in the plenum. 

The starter workshops in Wiesenburg and Wittbrietzen were success. Our attendees had developed great ideas in various areas and shared a constructive emery. All people got into good contact with each other and looking forward to the next workshop. 

Because of the corona pandemic all workshops in Germany were cancelled. But we restart in september. New dates are fixed and we are looking forward to see our participants in inspiring atmosphere soon.

Working together on various topics was carried out in small groups and in the plenum. Many ideas and suggestions for the workshops in autumn could be won. 

The TGZ PM invites to innovation workshops at three locations in the rural area of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. We look forward to an exciting exchange and valuable ideas for the region. The first workshop will take place on 25.03.2020 in the Pilot village Bad Belzig in the Technology and Start-up Centre Potsdam-Mittelmark. You can still register for it until 16.03.2020.
