It is targeted especially for energy agency and other professional usage.

As the second year of the Store4HUC project comes to an end we wish every project partner and interested participant happy holidays.

The construction phase began in February 2020 and was completed with the installation of the water buffer storage tank at the end of June 2020. All challenges arising from the implementation were excellently mastered by the measures taken.

A Case Study of Biomass Energy Storage Expansion in Weiz, Austria

Green energy investment can be difficult to plan in a historic building, more so in case of public buildings. In this case study we give your some tips on preparing such an investment.

The newsletter summarizes the latest project achievements around the Store4HUC feasibility studies and contains a preview on the Autarky Rate Tool under development. The Feasibility Study for the energetic optimization of an already existing slope elevator is now available for the pilot site Cuneo in Italy. 

The slope elevator has an average race count of 160.000 races per year transporting more than 700.000 people.The Study shows that its impact will be an important element to be considered in the decision-making processes on interventions of energy efficiency through storage systems that will contribute the increase of energy production from renewable sources. 

In the course of the project Store4HUC, a feasibility study will be carried out for every pilot region (IT, AT, CRO, SI).

The feasibility study of the Heat Storage in Weiz, Austria, is out. Find out which possible solution they developed to integrate a water buffer tank in the existing heating structure of the historical church in Weiz. 

The first scientific publication by Store4Huc is published.

The article introduces a robust controller design for power converters that interface energy storages and renewable energy sources to the primary grid, especially applicable in conditions of a weak grid with significant voltage distortions that are often found in historical urban areas due to usually low capacity of the electricity distribution infrastructure in them.
